mirror.

As I look at this reflection, I ponder... is this really me? The girl who now craves your affection, Without you I can no longer be. See when you stepped into my life, I never thought I would feel this way. But fast forward, Your smile is the only thing that brightens up my day. Your booming laugh is music to my ears. And when you're down, I'll do anything to stop those tears. You've got this indestructible hold around my heart. The only way to break it is if we grow apart. I don't know exactly what love is, But I do know you make everything clearer. You're such a part of me, Looking at you is like looking in the mirror.

As I look at this picture, many things come to mind. When you think of Cleveland... What pops into your head? If you were to type in "Cleveland, OH." It'll show you Lake Erie, Key Bank, historical landmarks, the Cavaliers. But what it won't show you... are the shootings EVERY.SINGLE.DAY. It won't show you the innocent lives taken by senseless violence. It won't show you the police brutality. It won't show you the drug overdoses. It won't show you the pain of people who have buried many of their friends and family. It won't show you the single mothers doing anything to support their children. It won't show you the kids who have no support from anyone, but continues to motivate themselves towards greatness so they can get out of the hood. So when you look at this picture... really look. Because if you love one part of Cleveland, you have to love all of Cleveland. The good , the bad , and the ugly .
